Armde’ot World Ltd (“we/us/our”) provides a free 1-year warranty on all our stocked electrical appliances, automatically applied at the time of purchase.
This means that, in the event your product is found to be mechanically defective within the warranty period, we will arrange for it to be (at our discretion) repaired or replaced free of charge, subject to the terms and conditions below.
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 A 1-year warranty is automatically applied on purchase. 1.2 To redeem your warranty, you must provide proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or official confirmation from Armde’ot). Please keep this safe for future reference. 1.3 Warranty applies only to stocked electrical appliances sold directly by Armde’ot. Products sourced through the Shopping Concierge UK Service are not covered by this policy but may be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty.
2. Remedies Available to You
2.1 If your product develops a mechanical defect during the warranty period, please notify us within 30 days of becoming aware of the defect and provide proof of purchase. 2.2 Once we verify your warranty, we will provide instructions on how to return the product for inspection/testing. 2.3 If, after inspection, the warranty claim is valid, we will at our discretion:
Repair or replace the defective product (or part); or
Provide an alternative product with equivalent functionality if the original is no longer available. 2.4 Refunds are not issued under this warranty.
3. What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by misuse, careless handling, accidents, or neglect.
Damage caused by fire, theft, weather, or external factors.
Commercial use of domestic products.
Fair wear and tear (e.g., scratches, dents, corrosion, discolouration).
Consumables (e.g., batteries, bulbs, fuses).
Inadequate packaging of the product when returning it.
Any product not purchased directly from Armde’ot or its verified outlets.
4. Liability
4.1 Armde’ot will not be responsible for any loss beyond the value of the product purchased. 4.2 Warranty services are provided for domestic and private use only. Products used commercially or for resale are not covered. 4.3 Nothing in this warranty limits your statutory rights under Kenyan consumer law.
5. General
5.1 Customers must provide reasonable assistance (proof of purchase, return of item, inspection access) for warranty claims. 5.2 Warranty remains valid only for the unexpired portion of the original 1-year period from the purchase date. 5.3 This warranty is governed by the laws of Kenya.
